A Tribute To My Daddy

February 28, 1930 - January 10, 2000

A FATHER'S LOVE

Safely shielded from all harms,

Lovingly held in my father's arms.

As I grew he taught me well,

And picked me up each time I fell.

Unconditional love from him was all I knew,

My confidence he always could renew.

Now he is at peace in the Summerland,

How I miss the gentle touch of his hand.

I long to hear his voice to brighten each day,

And offer loving advice to guide my way.

With gratitude daddy I send to you,

Love and devotion that is true.

On this day that heralded your birth,

I celebrate your time on earth.
